Interactions between domestic and foreign investment

Article Abstract:

Domestic and foreign investments of multinational corporations are interdependent with each other. This implies a generalized investment function that has investment location as one of the variables. This interdependence is also theorized by a worldwide profit maximization model. The interdependence was proven by the significance of the debts/assets ratio and by the significance of the coefficient of foreign output in the domestic investment function.
