Novgorod and Pskov oblasts: economic situation and developmental factors

Article Abstract:

The Novgorod and Pskov districts, or oblasts, provide good examples of how economic reforms develop at different rates. Novgorod has shown greater prosperity in the 1990s largely because of its leaders were more successful than those of Pskov in attracting outside investments.
