Overview - small business optimism

Article Abstract:

The 1998 first quarter economic growth was being predicted to reach over 4% at an annual rate, according to the January Index of Small Business Optimism. Sixteen percent of small business owners predict that the economy will grow stronger while 18% believe that the economy will weaken. Labor quality, taxes, regulations and red tape are among the leading problems being encountered by small business owners.

Small business inventories

Article Abstract:

Small business' actual and planned inventories from January 1986 to September 2007 are represented in a graph provided. Inventory satisfaction and inventory plans are compared in another graph. Tables indicating actual inventory changes, inventory satisfaction and inventory plans from January 2002 to September 2007 are also given.
