Problems of interregional cooperation between Russia and commonwealth of independent states

Article Abstract:

The problems in achieving interregional trading cooperation between Russia and the other commonwealth of independent states formed after the disintegration of the erstwhile Soviet Union are examined. Suggestions are offered for resolving these hurdles and legal impediments. The disintegration of Soviet Union resulted in a number of economic and interstate problems.

The administration and political measures required for achieving socioeconomic development in transition economies of Russia and other commonwealth of independent states of the erstwhile U.S.S.R are discussed in brief. In this context, the transborder cooperation between Astrakhan Oblast and regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan is examined in depth.

Globalization and international transregional cooperation between post-soviet countries

Article Abstract:

The implications of globalization, on the transition economies of Russia and other commonwealth of independent states formed after the disintegration of the erstwhile U.S.S.R, are examined. An analysis of the transregional cooperation between these countries is also presented. Russia's efforts for common economic block are also mentioned.
