Got grammar? Creating a milk poster campaign palatable to both teens and teachers

Article Abstract:

LaTorra Paul and McCann Inc's "Got milk?" advertising campaign for the American Dairy Association and Dairy Council Inc was a hit with students, teachers and food service directors. The campaign, which is aimed at encouraging milk consumption at schools, represents a deviation from past milk promotion campaigns. Instead of focusing on the nutritional aspect of the product, the Syracuse, NY-based ad firm decided to focus, albeit surreally, on the absence of milk.

Agri-food marketers must assure safe products

Article Abstract:

A 1998 survey from CMF and Z's Food Practice Group and the International Food Safety Council showed that consumers already place a greater premium on product safety over flavor and nutrition for agricultural food products. Food safety even ranked ahead of crime prevention, safe drinking water and other issues. This attitude was strongly related to the level of media coverage on the safety issue.
