Shrinkage estimators of time series seasonal factors and their effect on forecasting accuracy

Article Abstract:

The forecasting accuracy can be improved through better estimation of seasonal factors. Two shrinkage estimators, to improve the accuracy of classic decomposition seasonal factors are proposed.
