Small business interest rates

Article Abstract:

The seasonally adjusted net percent of owners reporting higher rates in January 2003 was minus 13 percent, with the rates still falling for many borrowers. The average interest rate on short-term loans is at 6.5 percent with 36 percent of all firms reporting regular borrowing activity, up two points.

Small business interest rates

Article Abstract:

A survey is conducted to find out the difference between the current rate of interest i.e. October 2003 and the interest payable three months ago. The findings indicate that the average interest paid on short-term loans rose to 5.9 percent.
