Men's outwear

Article Abstract:

British men are purchasing an increased amount of smart-casual clothes for the office environment, such as trouser and jacket combinations. The retail industry over-estimated the 1% increase in sales during 1995 and lacks enthusiasm for future sales because of high stock levels. Men are expected to change their wardrobe after having postponed clothes purchases for some time, says the British Market Research Bureau. Clothing sections in department stores stock fashion items as well as traditional designs, and are appealing to younger consumers.
