The Central Bank versus Russian industry

Article Abstract:

The mistakes of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation with respect to economic and monetary policy reforms are discussed. Topics include the unleashing of hyperinflation in 1992, the subsequent decline in money supply and increase in currency speculation, and the destruction of the production sphere between 1995 and 1997.

The political nature and lessons of the financial crisis

Article Abstract:

An understanding into the political nature of Russia and events between 1995-97 that led to its fall in 1997 shows a number of exogenous factors contributing to Russia's economic and financial destabilization. These factors are explored as they continue to exist.
