The Employment Consequences of Comparable Worth Policies

Issues concerning wage discrimination against women are discussed, focusing on the economic and employment consequences of mandating equal pay. Topics include the economic costs of increasing wages, the possibility that increased wages will bring increased employment, and the use of economic models in New South Wales to predict the economy in the long run can manage pay equity reforms.
