The New Order at Last?

Article Abstract:

The decision by Lebanese President Gemayel's government to suspend the Lebanese-Israeli agreement will most likely be accepted by the military wing of the Phalangist faction, despite their voiced opposition. The Israelis may build a military buffer along the southern border of Lebanon. An agreement on the government of Lebanon is not an impossible outcome of the National Reconciliation Conference, which will open in Lausanne on March 12th, 1984.
