The gender economy: theoretical approaches

Article Abstract:

Gender economics, begun in the late 20th century, is now a firmly-established discipline. However, many feminists regard this field as androcentric, neoliberal, and incorrectly identifies the family as the source of altruism thereby continuing discrimination against women in the workplace.

Working women in Russia at the end of the 1990s

Article Abstract:

Attempted Russian reforms to improve the socioeconomic position of working women have not been successful. Gender statistics, a gender budget, and gender expert analysis, once developed, can help the state achieve a better economic policy.
