The influence of expert reviews on consumer demand for experience goods: a case study of movie critics

Article Abstract:

A study demonstrating that the relationship between good reviews and demand for goods can be termed to be false, due to the underlying influence of unobservable quality signals, is presented. The study is done taking in to consideration the example of movie criticism.

A New Approach to the Incorporation of Attributes into Consumer Theory

Article Abstract:

A framework is developed to consider the consumption of a bundle of goods and its attribute levels. Prediction of consumer behavior when the complete set of attributes is achieved. A generally efficient frontier can be obtained.
