How much income mobility is there in Britain?

Article Abstract:

A high degree of mobility in household net income was observed in Britain from 1991 to 1994. Changes in British household income, although not very significant, occurred on an annual basis. Greater mobility was observed for those belonging to lower level of the British middle class. The degree of mobility in household income was also much higher for elderly people than their non-elderly counterparts.

Asymmetric oligopoly and technology transfers

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to examine the impact of technology transfers on asymmetric oligopolies. Results show that such transfers affect equilibrium conditions in subject oligopolies depending on licensing agreement specifications. The absence of royalty-based technology transfer payments generates a linear Cournot triopoly without Nash non-cooperative equilibria in pure strategies.
