A Word About Word Processors

Article Abstract:

Strictly speaking, the word processor which manipulates text is a computer with a word processing software program. It can be the most important piece of equipment in an English classroom, because it makes the mechanics of writing so easy. When purchasing a word processor, decide upon the special features needed, and find out which programs are within the budget, and are recommended for your computer. The two most widely used and recommended are WordStar and Easy Writer. WordStar comes with an audio tutorial, and other described features, while Easy Writer is less expensive and easier to use. Several other word processing programs are also listed.

Last Word: Ripe for Revival

Article Abstract:

Many people fear that television is failing to educate children in a way that helps them with their futures. Radio encourages young people to think creatively and to use their imaginations. Radios are available in all homes in all income levels. Students already listen to radios up to three hours per day. The challenge that faces radio programmers is to teach young people the concept of diversity. Radios can be used to listen to more than pop rock music.
