A gossip-free space to think

Article Abstract:

An examination of the pros and cons of working from home. Pros include not having to deal with the gossip of colleagues, avoiding constant interruptions and the ability to have a free "thinking space" in which work can be done. Downsides include the potential for laziness, so self-discipline, self-motivation, self-confidence and self-sufficiency are needed if home-working is to be a successful activity. Another con of working from home can be the inability to recognise when a full work day has been done and putting aside remaining work until the next day.

Dahling your lecture was sooper!

Article Abstract:

The opening sentence at the start of a lecture should interest the listeners before the speaker moves on to discuss the subject at grater depth. Writing the lecture as a script will help a new teacher understand the extent of their knowledge. The use of a few visual aids can be stimulating in a lecture. Practice giving the lecture may also help to give the teacher more confidence. The voice must be clear and strong to ensure all the information can be heard, the use of pauses and silence can also be effective.
