Sex equality crusaders

Seven universities have been chosen as part of a government-backed project to become models of how institutions can improve the career opportunities and pay of women. The seven will be expected to show how they have made progress on their own initiatives intended to boost career prospects of female employees.

Games gold rush for Loughborough's athletic elite

Article Abstract:

Loughborough University's students collectively won a total of 30 medals, including eight gold medals, at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. The students performed better at the games that those from 32 other countries.
