Article Abstract:

Fundamentalists within the environmentalist movement are ignoring the evidence presented to them by the scientific community about a number of issues and are threatening the very foundations of democracy. This aspect of the organic/environmentalist movement has religious overtones and its believers simply refuse to accept anything that contradicts their belief system.

The cloning scandal in South Korea would not have been possible without compliance from the West, according to Robert Laughlin, as all checking, reviewing and scrutinising was not docucted by Koreans. Western journals published the papers and international scholars employed by the journals as referees approved the papers.
