Figel: Get a grip or be 'beautiful museums'
Article Abstract:
Jan Figel, European Union Commissioner for Education, Training and Multilingualism, has warned Europe's universities that unless they get to grips with serious sytematic faults in the sector they could become 'beautiful museums'. Mr Figel's blueprint for the universities calls for geographic and inter-social barriers between universities to be broken down.
