Give students the big picture

Article Abstract:

Identifying the learning outcomes of a course of study will help all participants to develop an overall view of a course. Any parts of a course without identifiable learning outcomes should be eliminated and all learning outcomes should be suitable for assessment. Although learning outcomes should not replace assessments. Learning outcomes can help college lecturers ensure a course achieves what it set out to do and is of a good quality. Students can utilize learning outcomes to help them make decisions about which course to study and how it fits into their overall aims.

Make a friends of a paperbin

Article Abstract:

Lecturers should change their work practices in order to reduce their workload and levels of stress. By reorganizing some of their daily tasks they can use their time more effectively. Tasks which are considered to be urgent should be reduced to minimum and by tackling more jobs earlier will prevent them from moving into the urgent category. Advice from experts on administration and filing will help the lecturer form good administrative systems. Lectures should not be used to go over every detail of the curriculum but focus on the more difficult areas.
