Huge student 'no' to boycott

Article Abstract:

Nearly eight out of ten students are opposed to the boycott of exams and coursework which has been called by the academic unions as part of the pay dispute. The findings contrast claims by the National Union of Students (NUS) that growing numbers of undergraduates are supporting action short of a strike.

Academics and business profit from expert help

Academics can raise annual earnings by at least GBP 120,000 by consultancy work, according to a survey by The Times Higher. Highest earners are paid up to GBP4,000 per day yo share their expertise.
