One step ahead of the game

Article Abstract:

Media studies lecturers spend much time working out what to put on undergraduate booklists as the subject is devoted to modern methods of communications so how much time is available for books. In the last five years there has been growing emphasis on textbooks and user-friendly collections and increased use of web-based resources.

Our country needs EU

Article Abstract:

UK universities welcome the growing number of students from European countries as they provide extra income and enrich campus culture. Many of these students from European accession countries will take courses which are not popular with UK students, thereby making the difference which keeps the course alive.
