Managing the change

Article Abstract:

Issues concerning the human psychological evolution and its connections with business environments are discussed. It is emphasized that business attitudes should stop following the traditional patrimonial and competitive rules, and adapt to the psychology of cooperation, specific to women.

No oil for wheels of change

Article Abstract:

Cuba's higher education system has been affected by the ending of oil from the Soviet Union and the US trade embargo. Cuba has 240,800 students in 47 institutions out of a population of ten million, but student numbers may be reduced as the economy continues to decline.

Growth in demand will change business supply

Article Abstract:

Business schools are having difficulty finding enough teaching staff, as the number of faculty posts increases faster than the number of high quality graduates. Lower ranking providers of business education may be hardest hit.
