Article Abstract:

Continuous quality improvement in vocational education is necessary to meet the challenge of providing a quality workforce. Through continuous improvement everyone involved in vocational education knows the common purpose of the organization and how individual jobs help achieve that purpose. Internships build confidence, skills

Article Abstract:

Rochester Educational Opportunity Center (REOC) provides students with internship training either in business offices or in a model office within the school. Eighty percent of the school's students are single female heads of households receiving support from the Dept of Social Services. Community support for the REOC program has rapidly increased since employers have proven that REOC turns out quality students. This has led to a corresponding increase in job sites involved and in addition, about 75% of interns are successfully placed.
