Article Abstract:

Neil Kinnock will be appointed president of University of Wales, Cardiff, where he was once a student. He regrets not having studied harder, though his political career began when he was a student at Cardiff. His Welsh identity is important to him and he aims to promote Cardiff in a positive way.
