The clock ticks as life follows its own rhythm

Article Abstract:

An analysis of how circadian rhythms affect our bodies and behaviour and how researchers are developing drugs that will allow us to alter and control our sleep patterns. The impact of such drugs is examined, and it is questioned whether or not it would be better for people to exploit what we already know about circadian rhythms rather than trying to control them with pharmaceuticals.
