For-profit champion rebrands

Sylvan Learning Systems (Baltimore, Maryland), a world leader in for-profit higher education, is to change its name to Laureate Education. The company reported full-year revenues of $472.8 mil in 2003, 41% up on 2002, while operating income increased by 135% to $33.6 mil.
