CD-MP3 receivers sustain Sony's double-digit aftermarket growth

Article Abstract:

At Sony Corporation, another name for the automobile electronics business is the 'eVehicle' business, which for Sony centers on the aftermarket. To achieve the goal of keeping two digit growth rates, Sony will expand its lineup of CD receivers that support compressed audio data, including MP3 audio, and products providing rear-seat entertainment.

Matsushita works to refocus car A/V business on aftermarket

The realignment of Matsushita Corporation that regrouped overlapping businesses among various divisions and affiliated companies and started the business domain system is given. As a result, the company now can invest more heavily in development, and the Managing Director Yoshiro Hamada has high hopes for the company's products of the future.
