CF-B, CF-M, CF-L notebook computers
Article Abstract:
Matsushita Electric Industrial Co Ltd's six latest models in its Let'snote series of notebook computers are the CF-B5R, CF-B5V, CF-M2R, CF-M2C, CF- IXA and CF-L1XS. The CF-B5R and CF-B5V, which employ optical trackballs, have wireless communications port. Two other B5 models, the CF-M2R and CF- M2C have features, such as an 11.3-inch XGA color thin-film transistor (TFT) LCD and 64Kbits of synchronous DRAM. The A4 models, the CF-1XA and the CF-L1Xs feature CD-ROM drives and come with a 13.3-inch XGA color TFT LCD, among others.

C-0506 power inductors
Article Abstract:
FDK Corp's C-0506 series of chip power inductors, which have an ohm coil structure, are intended for mobile communications and other portable terminals. A 20% improvement in the DC resistance ensures a feature compatible with battery-operated mobile equipment. To reduce the thickness, designers added terminals along the perimeter of the core. The series is available in 5 x 6mm versions that are 1.6mm tall, and in versions that are 1mm tall.
