DSP technology boosts multi-channel receiver performance

Article Abstract:

Digital signal processing (DSP) uses algorithms that can determine the exact location of electronic transmitters in real-time which is a useful tool for intercepting transmissions. DSP can help radio frequency detection equipment reliably intercept burst signals, chirps, frequency hoppers and other transmissions that are increasingly difficult to detect. A number of manufacturers have introduced new surveillance equipment that makes use of advances in DSP technology.
