Sanyo Technosound branches out, exploring new products, locations

Article Abstract:

Sanyo Technosound Company Ltd intends to accelerate the speed of its expansion after having successfully established a solid management structure. The company, in fact, has begun manufacturing audio-video products at bases around the world. It also created a subsidiary based in Shenzhen, China, known as Sanyo digital Design (Shenzhen) Ltd, which is tasked to design general audio and multimedia products.

Industrial-use A/V takes precedence over consumer A/V in Mitsubishi's plan

Article Abstract:

Mitsubishi Electric Corp is training its sights on the industry-use audio- video (A/V) equipment market. The company expects sales of its industry- use A/V equipment to exceed those of consumer equipment in fiscal 1999. The shift in focus is in line with the company's expectations of growth in demand for industry-use video products across the world, especially in the US.
