Pipelined bit-slice architecture eases FFT implementation

Article Abstract:

Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) are faster than Discrete Fourier transform (DFT) but cannot be applied to general CPUs. Texas Instruments has designed a FFT to go around this gap. The SNA54-74AS888 will allow for better application for general use and still retain FFT's speed.
