Fuel edge: include alternative fuels in search for competitive edge

Article Abstract:

Synchronous breaker operation: new way to minimize transients

Article Abstract:

Avoiding voltage and current transients during capacitor-bank energization can be achieved by synchronous-closing circuit breakers that close at current zero. To close at current zero, gap withstand characteristics must have a steep slope for prestrike-free operation.
