The state-of-the-art designs for computer-aided engineering workstations are previewed. The ability to aid engineers without hampering creative ideas is the key to these workstations. The systems must be flexible to different design techniques.

Flat-panel displays

Article Abstract:

Flat panel display systems are starting to take over cathode ray tube displays. Plasma displays are the chief technology involved. Vacuum flourescent and liquid crystal displays also are being developed.
