MB91110 ultra-fast microcontrollers

Article Abstract:

Fujitsu Ltd's MB91110 ultra-fast microcontrollers are able to transfer interruption programs 16 times faster than older models because they contain 16KB execution RAMs. The microcontrollers are based by engineers on the FR30 series of 32-bit RISC processors. The series have a Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter to control sub-microcontroller operations. The MV91V110 is priced at Y1,200 ($11) while samples featuring a program-evaluation model are sold at Y900 ($8.03).

M38B3, M38B7 8-bit microcontrollers

Article Abstract:

Mitsubishi Electric Corp has introduced the M38B3 Group and M38B7 Group of 8-bit microcontrollers which have built-in flash memories. They work in consumer electronics with vacuum fluorescent displays, including DVD equipment, audio systems and microwave ovens. The microcontrollers add a 16-bit timer, reception functions for remote control, a watchdog timer, a Universal Asynchronous Receiver and Transmitter and a 16-channel, 10-bit analog-digital converter.
