SX6000J DLP projector

Article Abstract:

NEC Viewtechnology Inc introduces its SX6000J Digital Light Processing projector that offers 5,000 ANSI lumens of brightness and SXGA resolution. The product uses a three-chip Digital Micromirror Device and a 1.0kW xenon lamp. With the integration of NEC's conversion in the SX6000J, the processor enables displays of as many as 1,600 x 1,2000 dots. Four types of optional lenses are offered, ranging from a short focus to a zoom. The SX6000J carries a price of $90,727.

LV-5100 LCD projector

Article Abstract:

Canon has unveiled the LV-5100 LCD projector that generates a brightness level of 700 lumens and offers true SVGA resolution. The LV-5100 comes with a 120 ultra-high-power lamp and two internal temperature sensors for controlling fan speed. It features the Digital Keystone feature for compensating trapezoidal image distortion and the Hybrid Gamma Correction function for analog and digital gamma correction and high-quality projection.
