Nieh's Acura has won numerous national car stereo contests, including the national finals in the Amateir 601+ Sound Quality competition in Nov 1996, in Greenville, SC. It has both an upgraded Acura stock system and a custom rig engineered and installed by Chad Klodner of Plano, TX.

The 1996 USAF Finals in Kansas City, MO, had 399 entrants, and all were required to demonstrate their systems to spectators during show hours. The competition featured separate judges for install and sound quality. Winners in various classes are discussed.
