The 1998 United States Auto Club World Finals in Kansas City, Missouri were held on November 21 and 22, 1998. There were 130 competitors Brent Swan won the Novice and the 251-500 watt class with the stereo in his 1997 Ford Ranger. The SPL pit was the site of great excitement for enthusiasts.
