Coopers and Lybrand (C&L) offers a wide range of quality consulting services to US and Canadian clients, most of which are government agencies and leading industrial companies. C&L maintains three research centers devoted to Total Quality Management, a center specializing in manufacturing technology and a subsidiary that develops logistics and distribution systems. C&L approaches quality management through its Twin Track framework, which combines a focus on short-term results with a long-term perspective of change. This framework encompasses assessment, planning, implementation and institutionalization.
