Article Abstract:

Structured cabling gives a flexible and cost-effective system for connecting data systems. One cable type is used for all voice, data and image equipment. The cable is installed under a raised floor or in trunking with data boxes distributed around the work area. Commercial law firm, Wragge and Co. contracted Workplace Technologies to install such a system in its newly converted offices. The structured cabling enabled a flexible approach to the relocation and will support the firm's planned expansion.
