Agent oriented system approach for workflow automation

Article Abstract:

A novel system approach for workflow automation based on the agent-oriented system framework is described. The proposed system concept is materialized using a system architecture which includes sites supporting the activities of the agents, while a network model and software architecture are proposed for the implementation of this system architecture. The autonomy and mobility of e-form agents as well as the intelligence of the manager agent for a workflow manager are defined within the new system concept.

Statistical model selection based on Bayes decision theory and its application to change detection problem

Article Abstract:

A novel Bayesian decision approach is proposed for solving statistical model selection problems. The proposed algorithm can detect the change points of the parameter of the source of information while estimating each unknown variable. The asymptotic property of the statistical model selection is analyzed with respect to consistency, while the Bayes optimal solution of the change detection problem is derived.

Scheduling policies for remanufacturing

Article Abstract:

The effective recovery of materials utilized to make and deliver merchandise is the principle of any waste prevention plan. The recoverable manufacturing system, a vital part of a recoverable product environment, is patterned to prolong life span of the product via repair, remanufacturing, and recycling.
