Automated calibration for ISO 9000

Article Abstract:

A proposed computer-aided calibrationmethod for the ISO 9000 series to aid metrology in commercial firms is presented. Automated calibration as a means to accurate and efficient registration of companies in the standard involves test equipment operations and a record-keeping system to track such operations. The proposed method is designed to fully document and structure equipment operations such that calibration can be properly managed and easily performed.
