Avoid infringement through a temporary presence

Article Abstract:

The exceptions and clauses in the patent rules, which are exploited in patent infringement cases are discussed. Few examples of patent infringement cases are presented to show how the word 'temporary presence' in United states patent law helped certain companies in Canada and Japan to come clean of patent infringement cases.

The words used in the claims are the most important part in patents, not the written description or the drawings. The words used in the claims legally define the invention as seen by the inventor.
