Article Abstract:

Most IT systems have included common business practices of available-to-promise (ATP), capable to promise (CTP) and profitable-to-profitable (PTP) in their architecture thus making business-to- manufacturing (B2M) application a must for the companies in order to become more responsive to changing market needs and demands. A new IT architecture based on service-based architecture (SBA) is emerging where existing integration tools and applications can be adapted to it instead of becoming obsolete.
