Outsourcing: Opportunity or burden?

Article Abstract:

Companies planning to hire contract manufacturing services need to consider several aspects of the contractors' businesses and understand their shortcomings as well as their strengths. Companies are also encouraged to consider a contractor's capacity to implement design changes and the amount of workspace it commits to product development. Commitment to just-in-time manufacturing can prove beneficial to both contractor and its client.
