Speaking with style

Article Abstract:

Engineers are encouraged to take steps to effectively communicate their ideas to others, both in oral and written form. They should avoid the use of unnecessary, redundant words, jargons and expressions when expressing ideas. Moreover, engineers are encouraged to utilize words that are short and direct and avoid cliches and verbal correctness.

If you have to fire someone, do it right

Article Abstract:

There will never be any easy method of firing a worker but there is a right way of doing so. Compassion and good business sense play a significant role in how one terminates an employee and combining these two elements will make for a firing process that is less taxing on a manager personally and that is less disruptive to an organization. A number of things that should and should not be done when terminating employees are suggested.
