Choosing the right software for data acquisition

Article Abstract:

Data acquisition software (DAQ) has evolved as a powerful tool for engineers and scientists for application in machine automation, process control, instrumentation and electronic test measurements. An ideal DAQ software should be compatible with DAQ hardware, right for present application and flexible to all future changes. Different types of DAQ software are discussed and a list of more than 50 packages is provided.
