EPA tackles urban air toxics

Article Abstract:

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as part of its campaign to reduce air toxics, has released its Integrated Urban Air Toxics Strategy. The campaign is aimed at developing national standards for stationary and mobile sources of hazardous air pollutants that are known or suspected to be the cause of cancers and other health risks. The EPA aims to reduce the risk of cancer from such sources by 75%.
