Fuel cell makes own hydrogen

Article Abstract:

Hydro Environmental Resources Inc of Las Vegas, NV, is building a new type of hydrogen fuel cell that, unlike current models that require liquid hydrogen from an external source, manufactures its own hydrogen from water. The new working model will produce 2.5 kW of electricity per half hour in a self-contained unit. The company already has signed a contract with Orini Lumber Processors Ltd to build a power plant based on this technology.
