ISOCharter simplifies ISO 9000 documentation

Article Abstract:

Richardson, TX-based Micrografx Inc has developed a software package called ISOCharter, that is designed to help create the documents needed for ISO 9000. ISOCharter has two parts namely, the company's established FlowCharter flowcharting program and a set of ETQ 9000 Maps developed by ETQ Management Consultants Inc. The FlowCharter, which can create statistical-process control charts and insert them into flowcharts, has a simple procedure for creating multilayered flowcharts.

The high-end program, dubbed as FlowCharter, would not only help programmers create multilayered charts, but assist them in linking documents with other spreadsheets, Web sites and databases. FlowCharter further allows interactive interfaces for data entry/collection and training through its Living FlowCharts feature.
